Let creativity and nature collide in this imaginative rainforest mapping workshop.

Participants will observe and draw real leaves before transforming them into unique “maps” of the rainforest. Using the natural patterns of leaf veins as pathways, children will trace the journeys of incredible animals including the Southern Cassowary, Spectacled Flying Fox, Green Tree Frog, and Cairns Birdwing Butterfly.

Along the way, they’ll add animal tracks, habitats, and food sources to create visual stories showing how rainforest creatures move through, connect with, and support the forest ecosystem.

This hands-on activity blends art, storytelling, and environmental learning in a fun and creative way that encourages curiosity about the natural world.
