Monsoon Season

Monsoon Season is an indulgent burlesque showcase where exceptional talent takes centre stage…and modesty takes the night off. A carefully curated assembly of artists from across Queensland, the event brings together artistry, glamour, diversity and theatrical excellence, with a healthy appetite for spectacle.

Featuring local award-winning artists alongside legends of the burlesque industry, Monsoon Season celebrates established icons and outstanding contemporary talent in one gloriously over-the-top evening. Indulge in a dazzling display of the depth, diversity, creativity and sheer calibre of Queensland’s thriving burlesque scene. Served with plenty of sparkle and just the right amount of cheek.

Expect lavish costumes, spectacular performers, shameless glamour, wicked humour, outrageous theatricality and a healthy dose of camp. Drawing inspiration from the tropics at their most intoxicating, Monsoon Season is lush, opulent and charged with electricity. A little sultry, a little stormy and gloriously unrestrained.

Welcome to the season of excess.
