ARTIST: Alison Murray

Alison Murray is a Girramay Traditional Owner. Ceramic bagu figures dedicated by the artist to the old people, her ancestors, and their way of life in the rainforest environment. Each bagu has an individual theme such as hunting, family, story telling and weather.

They were commissioned by Cairns Regional Council following Cairns Indigenous Art Fair, July 2017.
