Wired for Sound - The Ultimate Cliff Richard Tribute Show

A Salute to Cliff Richard

There are few careers in popular music quite like that of Cliff Richard.

From the moment he burst onto the British music scene in 1958 with Move It, Cliff Richard has been a constant presence in music for more than six decades. From his early years performing with The Shadows, through the changing sounds of the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s, and into the present day, his career has produced some of the most enduring songs in popular music.

Wired For Sound – A Salute to Cliff Richard, starring Glenn Starr and his band, celebrates that remarkable career from the very beginning through to today.

The show takes audiences on a musical journey through the decades, featuring the songs that helped make Cliff a household name — Move It, Living Doll, Travellin’ Light, Bachelor Boy, Summer Holiday, The Young Ones, Devil Woman, Dreamin’, We Don’t Talk Anymore, Carrie, Some People, Wired for Sound and many more.

From the early rock ’n’ roll years and his incredible run of hits with The Shadows, to the chart successes that followed across six decades, Wired For Sound captures the evolution of an artist who has continually reinvented himself while remaining unmistakably Cliff.
The journey continues right through to the present day, with songs from his new Number One album, bringing the story of Cliff Richard right up to date.

Cliff recently stated that his latest Australian tour would probably be his last, Wired For Sound is a celebration of the music, memories and remarkable career of one of Britain’s most enduring entertainers. From the ’50s to now — six decades of unforgettable songs, one extraordinary career.
