Grand Parade Road Closures

Saturday 26 August Road Closure

The Cairns Festival Grand Parade is one of the region’s largest community events, with over 25,000 people attending each year.

The event will be held on Saturday 26 August from approximately 5.00pm - 7.30pm.
Road closures will affect the CBD area between the hours of 5.00am and 10.00pm.

Road Closures

Lake Street (from Minnie St to Florence St) 5am - 10pm

Minnie Street (from Lake St to The Esplanade) 2pm - 10pm

The Cairns Esplanade (from Minnie St to Spence St) 5am - 10pm

Pier Point Road (Half Road Closure) ~ No access to bus stops ~ 5am - 10pm

The Pier Carpark Western section only 5am - 10pm
