Munro Martin Parklands (MMP) is Cairns' dazzling community gathering place complete with an outdoor performance space. The Parklands boast tropical plantings, vine covered pergolas and arbours and an open-air plaza to encourage passive, casual use of the facility.

MMP is equipped to host a wide range of shows and since its opening in August 2016, performances have ranged from Queensland Opera’s Barber of Seville, contemporary circus from Circa, Grammy Award-winning Soweto Gospel Choir and contemporary music of acts such as Passenger, Angus & Julia Stone and The Waifs.

Munro Martin Parklands is open to the public from 6am to 7.30pm, seven days a week except on ticketed event days.

Umbrellas are allowed in the venue during ticketed events, but are not to be used during the performance. Read our full weather advice.

Munro Martin Parklands is a fully inclusive venue with wheelchair accessible with compliant graded paths and access points, accessible toilets and accessible street parking.
