Carnival on Collins is the annual street party that celebrates the Tanks Arts Centre and Cairns Botanic Gardens precinct. A Cairns Father’s Day tradition that presents site specific theatre performance, roving performers from around Australia, a great line up of music, free art and craft workshops and over 200 market stalls featuring plants, arts, crafts and more.

The event attracts over 20,000 people each year and will be held on Sunday 3 September running from 9.00am - 3.00pm.

Road closures will affect the Edge Hill area between the hours of 5.00am - 6.00pm.
