Dizzy Doolan

Dizzy Doolan aka Charmaine Armstrong was born in Townsville and grew up in Cairns where she also calls home. Her tribes are, Takalak, Agwamin, Gureng Gureng and Wokka Wokka people. A fearless First Nations hip-hop artist tearing it up with her unique flavour of music, Dizzy is a two-time Deadly award nominee and multi-talented MC who as well as an accomplished singer, actor, and dancer.

Dizzy has graced stages of the AWMA’s and Sydney opera House, supported international heavy weights T-Pain, Fatman Scoop, and Akon, and collaborated with Australian music royalty including Troy Cassar-Daly.

A prolific and passionate performer and creator, Dizzy runs a weekly Hip Hop workshop at her work-space and wants to make a difference in her community.

Dizzy Doolan is currently working on releasing her solo EP and is well on her way to the next step of her journey.  Doolan’s main aim is to continue to develop her skills and support networks and be a positive role model.
