CPAC Theatre

The CPAC proscenium arch theatre features a full-size stage and an orchestra pit capable of accommodating an entire symphony orchestra. With 941 seats, the theatre offers excellent sightlines from the stalls, balcony and balcony boxes.

The auditorium is lined with locally sourced timbers, enhancing both acoustic performance and the overall atmosphere of the space.

CPAC also provides access to a quiet room, a sound-proofed space where patrons can continue to experience performances via one-way glass and a live audio feed. Originally designed to support patrons attending with babies or young children, the room is available to anyone who may benefit from stepping out of the main auditorium. The audio feed volume can be adjusted, and the room includes a small number of chairs, bean bags and sensory aids. Please ask an usher if you would like assistance accessing this space.

Accessibility has been a high priority in the theatre’s design, with ample wheelchair seating and a hearing loop available. With advance notice, CPAC can accommodate a range of individual access requirements, and visitors are encouraged to advise staff of their needs at the time of booking.

This venue is available for hire.
