Billy Missi grew up on Moa Island. He was a founding member of Mualgau Minaral Artist Collective and a pioneer in the Torres Strait
Island printmaking movement.

This print was purchased by Cairns Regional Council in July 2018 and details of the Torres Strait pigeon motif have been reproduced on large windows along the western side of the Cairns Performing Arts Centre as well as safety vision strips at the foyer entrances.
