United Nations Youth Queensland is holding its annual Cairns Conference in May. Students will have the opportunity to explore some of the most pressing issues of international importance. This year’s theme is Sustainable Solutions.
Participants will explore the impacts of climate change and potential mitigation strategies for damage to the Great Barrier Reef.
The first day of the event will consist of an exploration of the conference theme through a range of debate, workshops, and problem-solving activities.
The second day of the conference will consist of a round the Evatt Trophy Competition, a nation-wide Model United Nations Competition. The winning team will progress directly on to the State Grand Finals in Brisbane.Add to my calendar
