Cèilidh is a celebration of Scottish food, culture and history for the whole community.
In conjunction with Cairns RSL Pipes and Drums and the German Club Cairns, Cèilidh will have you on feet doing a reel and a Highland fling before you know it. Be part of the traditional piping of the Haggis and toasts with Scotch to formalise the proceedings.
A four–course feast awaits with 1. Cock-a-Leekie soup; 2. Traditional Scottish meatloaf (aka haggis) served with mash potato and mashed turnips; 3. Roast beef with potato wedges and seasonal greens; and 4. Cranachan, a wonderful dessert.
