Celebrate what's great about our nation at local Australia Day events!
Cairns Regional Council is proud to present and/or support Australia Day events for the Cairns community.
Council proudly presents Australia Day celebrations in two locations each year, one based in the city on the Esplanade and the second based at the Northern Beaches. The Northern Beach location rotates between three beaches: Trinity Beach, Yorkeys Knob and Palm Cove, with this year's festivities being held at Yorkey's Knob. There will also be a community-run event down south, this year to be held in Edmonton.
