Stormwater drainage maintenance works are scheduled in the following general site locations during May and June:

  • Site 1 – MacManus Street
  • Site 2 – Caleb Court
  • Site 3 – Lennon Street
  • Site 4 – Hartley Street
  • Site 5 – Meander Close
  • Site 6 – Moowooga Street
  • Site 7 – Gatton Street

Stormwater relining is a trenchless technology used to rehabilitate existing underground stormwater pipes which involves inserting a structural liner inside the existing pipe to improve its strength and functionality.

Works in your area and to your property will involve the insertion of a liner into the existing stormwater pipeline, through existing manholes, and will be undertaken by Relining Solutions Pty Ltd.

Little or no excavation works are required and there should be no disruption to you whilst the works are being undertaken. Residents may, however, notice an increase in noise, lighting and vehicle movements in the area during the works.

If you would like further information regarding these works, please email feedback@cairns.qld.gov.au
