A new public amenities building will be constructed at the Yorkeys Knob boat ramp (Half Moon Bay). The building will house an ambulant toilet, an all accessibility toilet and a storage room.

Construction is expected to commence in March, with completion by May 2021 (weather permitting). The removal of two trees and some vegetation trimming will be required. The old amenities building on Buckley Street will be decommissioned once the new facility is open for use.

During construction, the boat ramp will remain open. The de-rigging bay will be temporarily relocated a short distance away from the building works. There may be temporary disruptions at times to facilitate the road crossing for the sewer main installation works. Traffic management will be in place to notify motorists of the changes to normal traffic conditions.
