Changed conditions - transportation of oversized materials

Changed conditions will be in effect in the following streets from Wednesday 20 September up to and including Saturday 30 September 2017:

  • Dutton and Hartley St;
  • Hartley and Draper St;
  • Cook and Tingira St; and
  • Tingira St.

These changes are to allow for the transportation of materials required for the construction of Mt Emerald Wind Farm. The blades for the turbines are approx. 60m long, requiring adequate clearance for the turning path of the trucks (shown above). Truck haulage will operate under Police Control from 9am to 4pm; and 6pm to 2am, Monday to Friday on the above dates. Weekend haulage will also be undertaken.

Parking bays will be inaccessible from the close of business on Monday 25 September onwards.  Onsite signage will be installed to advise of these changed conditions.

Another shipment will be received in December, requiring the same changes to be temporarily implemented. You will receive notification ahead of the next shipment.
