Project update

Construction works are approximately 50% complete. Project completion is expected by mid-January 2021, weather permitting.

During construction, some car parking bays will be temporarily closed - thank you for your patience during works.

A new public amenities building will be constructed at the Barron River boat ramp, Stratford.

The building will house two (2) unisex disabled toilets.

Construction is expected to commence in September 2020, with completion by December 2020 (weather permitting). Some tree removal is required and replacement plantings will be undertaken.

During construction, the boat ramp will remain open however some car parking bays will be temporarily closed. Early works to construct a new rising main sewer along Greenbank Road West are complete.

This new facility will be similar to the building within the carpark near the Yellow Arrow walking track in Aeroglen, as shown in the image below.
