Local artist and photographer Priscilla Ong has been on a marathon photographic assignment, making portraits of 100 Cairns residents from age one to a hundred.
City Faces of 100 Years is an exhibition of photographic and interview materials exploring ideas of identity and belonging in the Cairns region. Having photographed and shared stories with so many people from so many walks of life from the very young to the elderly, Priscilla presents a portrait of a city as diverse as it gets.
Kids, meet Priscilla at the Cairns Children’s Festival where you can have your portrait taken and write your own story to go with it!
