Gig Etiquette

WE LOVE LIVE MUSIC... and we know you do too!

Whether it’s your first or five hundredth visit to the iconic Tanks Arts Centre, there's a couple of 'recommendations' we arts-lovers abide by to ensure Tanks is both a fun and safe place to rock out to some quality live entertainment and admire beautiful exhibitions.
The Tanks Arts Centre loves presenting high quality music and visual arts experiences while at the same time upholding a ZERO tolerance stance to:
● Antisocial behaviour
● Harassment
● Breaking of alcohol laws
● Drugs

DO

●  Be respectful to other gig-goers (no pushing!)
●  Be respectful to the artist/band (no one likes talking in the quiet bits....)
●  Call your mates out if they're behaving badly
●  Make your grandmother proud
●  Have a great time!

DON'T

●  Turn up intoxicated as you'll probably be refused entry
●  Turn up intoxicated if you’re under 18 – you’ll definitely be refused entry
●  BYO Alcohol – You'll be asked to leave.
●  Climb the pylons or touch the artwork
●  Watch the entire show through a screen, it’s a live show – watch it live!
