Flame Visual Program

Creative Mediator Daniel "Wally" Wallwork shows the FLAME Visual 2025 young creatives around his studio.

About the project

2026 FLAME Visual Program, providing young artists the opportunity and skills to develop their arts practice and maintain a creative life.

Celebrating its tenth year, the FLAME Visual Program aims to equip young creatives with skills, insights and experiences that help them build their confidence, to prioritise and value practicing creativity into their future, long after they leave school.

Designed to give young artists the opportunity to meet and work with professional creatives in the region, the program offers participants arts industry professional development skills and an opportunity to participate in an exhibition at Tanks Art Centre in March 2026. During the program, Tanks Arts Centre will connect young creatives with established artists acting as creative mediators, delivering peer-to-peer learning opportunities via facilitated presentations and workshops over a three-month period.

FLAME Visual is made possible thanks to the support and generous donation by benefactor Paul Matthews.
