Vic Petersen Memorial Park is a district sporting park leased by Pyramid Polocrosse Club.

History behind the name

Vic Peterson was the first president and founding member of the “Pyramid Polo-X Club.  Vic Peterson and his family introduced polocrosse to the area.  Vic Peterson died on 29 September 2009 and the club applied to have the grounds formally named after him a year later.  This name change was approved by Council Resolution on 8 December 2010.
