History of Park Name

Charlie Butler was a Cairns Shire Councillor from 1903-1940. The original estate of Bentley Park was owned by Charlie Butler who was born in Wolverhampton, England, on 13 May 1879.  Charlie Butler died in Brisbane 25 July 1981 aged 102.
