Cadetships
Council offers cadetships in engineering and design. Cadets receive financial support to gain a tertiary qualification complemented by the real world, practical on-the-job skills and experience.

- Reimbursement of one economy return airfare from the place of study within Australia to Cairns per annum to be utilised to undertake vacation employment during the mid-year and/or Christmas-New Year university break.
