The Grants program is available to provide funding to community based groups, individuals and organisations who are providing programs, activities and projects that enrich the opportunities to residents.

Application form and guidelines for Arts and Cultural in-kind. Council can provide in-kind assistance (not cash) for local community arts and cultural programs and activities that make a positive creative contribution to the region.
Community Sustainability Grant Application Form (834.2 KB)
Not for profit groups can apply for up to $5,000 for projects that deliver renewable energy, waste reduction, low carbon travel, sustainable food production, biodiversity improvements or community education. Applications are open each year between 1 June and 31 July.

Council’s Nature-based Learning Grant provides up to $2,000 for school excursions that connect children with nature in a way that results in a greater awareness and appreciation of sustainable living and the natural world. Applications are open each year between 1 June and 31 July.
