The benefits of platinum plus accreditation are the same as platinum accreditation, with the addition of access to specific support from Council in terms of economic development, marketing and event management.
For platinum plus level accreditation, your community club must:
- Continue to meet platinum level accreditation requirements
- Have a strategic events plan
- List events on Tourism and Events Queensland calendar
- Host an event on Australian Tourism Data Warehouse
- Highlight three high-level (state, national or international) events to attempt to attract to the Cairns region over the next three years
- Compile a bid document for at least one state, national or international event each year
