Closures and service changes - Council facilities

The Queensland Government has brought forward "Stage 3 of its Roadmap to easing Queensland restrictions." These relaxed rules come into effect at noon on Friday 3 July.

Please check back regularly for updates.

The status listed below will remain in effect until further notice.  Users should adhere to physical distancing measures, good hygiene practices, be vigilant of 100-person limits and follow the direction of any signage.

Cairns Libraries OPEN WITH RESTRICTIONS

Cairns Performing Arts Centre RE-OPENING 11 JULY WITH RESTRICTIONS

Council camping grounds OPEN WITH RESTRICTIONS

    Users must provide contract tracing details.

  • Bramston Beach campground -  OPEN

Funerals attendance restrictions apply as set by the Queensland Government.

Maximum of 100 people excluding celebrant/clergy and staff.

Council is accepting hall hire bookings for groups up to 50 people.
