Cairns Multicultural Month

Cairns Multicultural Month, held annually during the month of August,  provides an opportunity to build and promote appreciation and acceptance for the diverse cultures of our region to strengthen meaningful and respectful community connections. It is a chance to come together to embrace our common values through the sharing of knowledge, tradition, food, music, sport and art.

Above all, the Cairns Multicultural Month acknowledges that while we may come from different places and cultures, we all contribute to making Cairns a wonderful place to live.
