Presented by Dr. Michael Kane, who is the Director of Innovation and Economic Strategies, Economic Development Queensland.
This workshop will provide planners, fleet managers, retailers, sustainability and interested professionals and the community with an understanding of the planning and delivery of EV charging infrastructure.
The session will start with a seminar on EV charging strategies, trends, principles and technologies including information on how innovative approaches to partnering, planning, and infrastructure can deliver cost-effective EV charging infrastructure.
Following will be an interactive problem-solving activity based on the newly released EDQ Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Practice Note. This session will involve participants in planning to deliver real-life EV charging infrastructure.
Cairns Regional Council worked with EDQ to install the northernmost electric vehicle charging point on Queensland's Electric Vehicle Superhighway in 2017 at the Pier Carpark on the Esplanade.Add to my calendar
