Can I book my tickets over the phone and pay for them later?    

No, ticketLiNK does not hold tickets without payment. Tickets must be paid in full at the time of the booking. The only exception is group or school bookings. If you are making a group booking for 10 or more people we will put your seats on hold for a short time to allow you to collect payment from your group. Read more about making a group booking.

I've lost my tickets, what can I do?

If you are attending an event with allocated seats ticketLiNK can reissue your ticket/s for a small fee.  Please bring photo ID to the ticket office. 

If your event does not have allocated seating ticketLiNK cannot reissue your ticket/s. Please contact ticketLiNK and we will try to assist you if possible.

I have been given a ticketLiNK gift voucher, how do I redeem it?  

You can redeem your voucher online, over the telephone or in person at the ticketLiNK office for any event being ticketed by ticketLiNK.

How long before the show should I pick up my tickets?

You should pick up your tickets at least half an hour before the show is due to start.  During this time the box office will only manage enquiries regarding the immediate performance.  No ticket sales will be made at this time for other events.

What ID do I need to pick up my tickets?

Standard identification such as a driver's license or credit card may be required to collect your tickets as well as proof of any concessions you have claimed.

Do transaction fees apply to bookings?

As of December 6 2016 the transaction fee has be removed. It has been replaced with a per ticket booking fee of 5% capped at $2.

Is ticketLiNK the same as Ticketek?

No, ticketLiNK is an independent ticketing agency that specialises in ticketing events in Far North Queensland.

Do venues have specific dress codes?

Most venues do not have specific dress codes but footwear is usually a requirement for health and safety reasons. For most events smart casual is fine, but please feel free to dress up if you would like to. Certain events, such as formal balls, may have specific dress codes. This information will be detailed on the event page.

Can I bring children?  

This will depend on the suitability of the event for children. Event ratings and content are listed on the specific event page. If a baby or young child disrupts a performance you may be asked to leave.

When should I arrive?  

Events start promptly at the time stated on your ticket. Make sure you leave plenty of time to park your car, walk to the venue and find your seat (if you are attending a seated venue).  

A good rule of thumb is to arrive 20 to 30 minutes prior to the start time on your ticket. Several venues have licensed bars where you can purchase drinks prior to the performance or during intervals.

What happens if I'm running late?  

For seated events, you will be asked to wait in the foyer or at the entrance of the venue until a suitable break in the performance. This is for safety reasons. For general admission events, you may enter at any time.

Can I take food and drink into the event?  

This will depend on the event. Generally bottled water is fine. Some venues may restrict food to items sold at the venue. If there are restrictions these will usually be listed on the specific event page.

I have difficulty walking up stairs. Can I access venues without climbing steps?  

Most venues can be accessed at street level or have access ramps. However, some areas of seating within a venue may not have suitable access. Ticket office staff can advise you of the best seats to suit your needs.

I need to remain in my wheelchair for the duration of the event. How should I book my tickets?  

If you need to remain in a wheelchair for the duration of a performance, please make your booking by telephone or in person.  This will ensure that staff are aware of your requirements and appropriate seating can be allocated.
