Partnership Cairns - Community Benefit: Play equipment for Watkins Close playground, Mooroobool - Sponsor: Majer Tiles

Whilst Council were carrying out the 04/05 Playground Renewal Program in this suburban park, and replacing the existing play equipment with an entirely new set, Majer Tiles approached us about the possibility of partnering on this project.

By kindly donating the Mega Toy “Aeroglide” flying fox component of the new playground equipment, the size of the final installation has been increased to provide a very impressive replacement to the beloved old timber fort that sadly needed to be removed.

The generous donation by Majer Tiles has increased the value of the playground equipment by $2 800 - a great saving to both Council and the ratepayer.
