Payment can be made through Council’s website, using your assessment number as a reference number with your Visa or MasterCard. Payment of rates can be made in full, for future rates, smaller payments can be made in advance at any time.

Direct Debit Logo   Direct Debit
To make regular weekly, fortnightly or monthly payments from your cheque or savings account towards your next rates notice, complete a direct debit form. A direct debit form can be downloaded from the link below or you can contact Customer Service (07) 4044 3044 for further information. Direct debit forms and information.
     
BPAY Logo   BPAY
Contact your bank or financial institution to make payment from your savings, cheque or credit account. Please quote Biller Code 49346. BPAY can also be used to make smaller advance payments.
     
Australia Post Logo   Australia Post
Payment can be made in person at any Post Office, via telephone on 13 18 16 or via Postbillpay website. You can make smaller advance payments any time using any of the above Australia Post payment options.
     
Secure Pay logo   SecurePay
Payments can be made through Securepay using your Visa or MasterCard. From Australia, call 1300 760 002. For overseas callers please dial your country’s International Access Code +61 3 9697 5703. Calls within Australia are charged at local call costs with higher rates from mobile and public phones. International calls are charged at the applicable rate
     
Mail Logo   Payment by Mail
Remove the bottom section of your rates notice and mail with your cheque or money order to Cairns Regional Council, Rates Department, PO Box 359, Cairns QLD 4870. Cheques must be made payable to Cairns Regional Council and marked 'Not Negotiable.' Acceptance of a cheque is subject to collection of the proceeds. Post dated cheques will not be accepted.

You can make payment at any of Council’s Business Offices using cash, cheque, EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard or money order.
