QLeave is the Queensland Building and Construction Industry (Portable Long Service Leave) Authority. Created in 1992 the Authority provides long service leave benefits for eligible building and construction workers.

The scheme is funded by an industry levy on building and construction work in Queensland.

Long service leave is normally paid to workers who have worked for a particular employer for a long period of time.

Under Industrial Relations provisions workers who have worked for an employer for 15 years are entitled to paid long service leave.

Q-Leave is payable on all construction that has a value of $80,000 or more. Building work is defined as carrying out of construction, reconstruction, renovation, alteration, demolition, maintenance and repair work.
