Our vision is:

To efficiently meet the water and waste needs of the Cairns and Douglas regional community in a financially and environmentally sustainable manner.

In all undertakings Water & Waste strives to achieve service provision to the Cairns community in a manner which maximises both Council and community ideals. This is achieved through economic, social and environmental objectives being assessed in all stages of Cairns Water operations from long term planning through to operational delivery.

Water & Waste works closely with community and environmental groups, local residents and councils, schools and other stakeholders such as the EPA on the planning and implementation of its three core services: water, wastewater and solid waste management.
