Water & Waste provides customers with a variety of ways to pay their water bill. Currently the following options are available:

- Your water usage notice is due and payable by the date shown on the notice.
- Cheques, money orders or postal notes must be made payable to Cairns Regional Water and Waste and crossed 'not negotiable.' Change cannot be given on cheques.
- Property owners will be liable for any dishonour fees where cheques are dishonoured. Acceptance of a cheque is subject to collection of the proceeds.
- The amount payable is the total amount owing which includes any balance carried forward from your previous bill.
Difficulty with Payments
In exceptional circumstances Water & Waste can make special arrangements for customers who have difficulty paying their water bill. Water & Waste can arrange for the customer to make more frequent payments.
