Baby Welcome and Family Expo

Each year Cairns Regional Council welcomes new babies to the region with the Baby Welcome and Family Expo.  Families with new babies born between October 2012 and September 2013 can register to have their baby welcomed by the City in a formal ceremony that will be held down on the Esplanade next to Muddies Playground.

The event is for all the family, not just the babies with lots of fun for the older kids as well as mum and dad.

Registrations for babies to take part in the ceremony will be open from 1 September 2013.

Family Expo stalls

Expressions of interest from stallholders wishing to take part in the 2013 Family Expo will be accepted from 1 August 2013.

This year the Baby Welcome and Family Expo will take part on Sunday 27 October 2013, from 10am to 2pm.
