Earth Hour 2018 starting at 8:30 pm today!
Just one day to go until Earth Hour. Cairns Regional Council will join with millions of climate-conscious people worldwide in “switching off” for Earth Hour this Saturday evening from 8.30pm-9.30pm. Council has permanently changed its operations to ensure that all non-essential lighting is turned off every night.

Reef Guardian Stewardship Grant applications will open from 1 March to 1 May 2018. Reef Guardian Councils, schools and other entities with an ABN are encouraged to apply for grants from $500 to $4,000 for projects which will improve the health of the Reef.
