City Assessment is responsible for the release of survey plans for new developments. Applications must be made on the relevant Application for Endorsement of Survey Plans form and be accompanied by the relevant fee. This includes new residential, commercial and industrial subdivisions (Standard Format Plan), and the further subdivision of buildings (Building Format Plans) e.g. for Residential Units or office buildings.
A survey plan will not be released until the applicant has demonstrated full compliance with all conditions of the relevant Material Change of Use approval and/or reconfiguring a lot approval and/or operational works approval.
