NEW!
Fast Track service for development applications
Cairns Regional Council has launched a new "fast track" service to enable simple applications, specifically those of a domestic scale, to be issued expeditiously.
A simple checklist (see Related Documents at right) will assist building certifiers, builders, and first time applicants to submit applications which contain all the necessary information. Applications which are eligible for the "fast track" approval process will be assessed in less than half the time allowed for under the relevant legislation.
