Smithfield town centre amendment and planning scheme policy

Following community engagement, Council has resolved not to proceed with the Smithfield Town Centre amendment.  Council continues to support the concept and development of the Smithfield Town Centre and the role and function of centre will be addressed through the preparation of the new planning scheme for the Cairns region.
