Cairns City Centre master plan
How do you want your city to take shape over the next 30 years?
Council has enlisted urban design and planning company Architectus, together with a number of local consultants, to undertake a master plan for the Cairns City Centre. The master plan will be an important tool for Council to drive positive development outcomes throughout the City Centre.
Workshop sessions have been held with business and community members. Summaries of the February and March 2011 presentations are available. Information from the May 2011 workshop is available under Related Documents at right.
Council adopted the Cairns City Centre Master Plan on 26 October 2011, with the projects and strategies to be rolled out in a staged program. Download the Master Plan in PDF form in Related Documents at right. Alternatively, you can view the Cairns City Centre Master Plan e-book online.
