Sewer Rectification Project

Council is to replace a section of the sewer main in Sheridan Street, between Minnie and Upward Streets. 

Construction work is expected commence on 15 October 2012, with completion estimated by 30 November 2012, weather permitting, and will include excavation on the road and footpaths, which will be temporarily restored to allow for continued use outside of work hours.

Works will occur from 7am – 6pm, Monday to Saturday.

Traffic control will close the parking bays and first traffic lane for traffic driving into the city throughout the construction period.
