Rates notices issued, payment due 27 August 2012

Cairns Regional Council advises that half-yearly rates notices will be issued today.

Anyone who does not receive their rates notice by Friday, August 3, is asked to contact Council immediately.

Payment is due on August 27 and can be made quickly and conveniently via Council’s website.

Other payment methods include via BPay, at Australia Post outlets, mailed cheque or money order and at Council’s customer service centres.

Please be aware of changes to credit card payments, including the addition of a 1 per cent surcharge.

Anyone who is having difficulty paying their rates is asked to contact Council as soon as possible to discuss a payment plan.

Rates payments can be made in small increments in advance by setting up a direct debit system.
