Attention is directed to an application for Permanent Road Closure of an area of about 850m2 being Summit Street and part of Quarry Street abutting Lot 3 on plan C19844 (parish of Cairns and localities of Aeroglen and Whitfield) and shown as plan of Lot A on Drawing TSV2012-16v2, in the manner of specified in the Government Gazette of 19 October 2012.
A copy of the notification and of the drawing in illustration may be viewed at Cairns Regional Council Administration Centre, 119-145 Spence Street, Cairns QLD 4870 and at the Department of Natural Resources and Mines (DNRM), Level 4, William McCormack Place, 5b Sheridan Street, Cairns QLD 4870.
Objections to the application must be in writing and submitted to Department DNRM Cairns Office, no later than 29 November 2012.
Any objections received may be viewed by other parties interested in the proposed road closure under the provisions of the Right to Information Act 2009.
