Edmonton Library to receive new roof

Edmonton Library will be closed for one week to allow replacement of its roof.

The building will receive a new roof featuring improved insulation and design, which will enhance the comfort of library users.

The library will be closed on Monday, October 29, and will reopen on Monday, November 5.

During the closure, Edmonton library stock will not be available for loan. Library items may be returned to the after-hours returns bin, which will be temporarily located at Hambledon House.

Full library services will be available from other branches of Cairns Libraries – the closest being located at Gordonvale and Earlville.
