Daintree TV digital upgrade

Cairns Regional Council advises that the television transmission tower at Daintree will be upgraded to receive digital transmission this Friday, August 17.

There may be disruptions during the day to television services in the area serviced by the tower.

Once the digital signal is activated, analogue signals will no longer be received. Residents will need a digital-ready television set or digital set top box to receive the digital broadcasts.

Please note that televisions may need re-tuning to access the suite of digital networks.
