About the council
Cairns Regional Council advises that a controlled burn will take place on Mt Whitfield today - Wednesday,September 19, at 3pm.
The Blue Arrow and Red Arrow walking tracks will be closed to the public from 12noon until 10:00pm today.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.
